TomTom’s QuickGPSfix now available for free to all TomTom ONE users

TomTom has announced that it is making its QuickGPSfix service free to all TomTom ONE users.

TomTom’s QuickGPSfix service enables a TomTom ONE device to connect with GPS satellites faster than ever before. This means that the position of the TomTom ONE is "fixed" seconds after switching on the device, even if the GPS signal is weak.

Users simply install the QuickGPSfix by connecting their TomTom ONE device to a computer running TomTom HOME, TomTom’s free software application.

TomTom’s QuickGPSfix predicts the location of GPS satellites for seven days. For the quickest GPS fix available, users are required to connect to TomTom HOME at least once a week.

TomTom’s QuickGPSfix is compatible with TomTom GO 910, TomTom GO 710, TomTom GO 510 and the entire TomTom ONE range.
