AOL's subscription music downloading service is coming to an end, or rather, being transferred to Napster.

AOL Music Now's 350,000 customers will have their accounts automatically converted to Napster unless they opt out within the next two months.

The deal also means that AOL will promote Napster's subscription service on its free music portal, AOL Music.

Subscribers won't lose any money in the deal as Napster will get all of their playlist information, keep AOL's pricing, and transfer credit that subscribers have already purchased.

AOL Music Now was previously Circuit City's music service, and was purchased by Time Warner in 2005.

In related news, Virgin Digital also recently shut down and handed over its customers to Napster in the US, but the UK branch at VirginDigital.com is still operating as normal.
