In the wake of Apple's recent product announcements at MacWorld, Tesco is expanding its “Apple zones” in store.

The popularity of the Apple zone in Tesco's Milton Keynes Kingston store has proven that carrying Apple products is viable for the supermarket.

Apple zones will offer over 75 Apple products, from computers to iPods and various accessories; it will be staffed by specially-trained salespeople to help and advise interested customers.

Tesco superstores also host home entertainment sections, and the brand has recently expanded into selling budget software bearing the Tesco name.

Apple zones will now be appearing in Broadstairs, Leicester, Stockton, Addlestone, Pitsea, Merthyr Tydfil, Barrow, Leeds, Wath upon Dearne, and Homeplus Chelsmford.
