Altec Lansing is showcasing a host of new products at MacWorld, including wireless speaker systems.The M812 is one of their high-end iPod speaker systems, and retails for $400. Its wireless system works up to 100 fet away, and comes with a remote control for easy navigation. Two 4-inch woofers and 1-inch tweeters power the sound; another three speakers can be added for room-filling sound in the whole house.
Also introduced are the inMotion iMV712 and iM600. The first retails for £350 and incorporates an 8.5-inch LCD on the front, along with built in subwoofer.
The second, on sale for around $150 is designed for portability, and includes sfx sound field expansion technology. It comes with a rechargeable battery, and plays FM radio as well.
The company is also demonstrating its headphone series from its SnugFit and AirFit series, with models ranging from $30 to $180.
