Polaroid has decided to throw its hat into the lucrative portable media player ring, and is launching a pair of Wi-Fi-enabled devices. The devices, dubbed Swinger, are being displayed at the Polaroid stand at CES.
They will come in two models, one with 80GB and a 4.3-inch screen, and one with 30GB and a 2.8-inch screen.
Both will have hot-spot locators in order to find open Wi-Fi systems to use.
“Connectivity is a key component in Polaroid consumer electronic devices”, said Jim Koestler, VP of Product Management. “Adding a Wi-Fi-enabled PMP ensures Polaroid customers will have the latest technology available in an approachable, fun-to-use product that makes accessing music, video, and photos whenever, wherever they may be.” Audio, MP3 players, Home Cinema, Polaroid
