CES 2007: Polaroid Launches Photo Backup Device

Say bye to losing all your images

9 January 2007 23:58 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Polaroid has announced a new media backup device that enables consumers to back up photos from their personal computer by simply plugging the device into the computer's USB port.

Once plugged in, it instantly searches the computer for all digital images and copies them over to the device without having to install or configure any software or even clicking a mouse.

Using what something Polaroid calls ClickFree technology will be available later this year and have the capability to hold up to 40,000 photos.
