A US company has launched a new device costing $299 that will allow you to transfer your CD collection to your iPod without the need for a computer.

Called the iLoad, any entire CD or individual tracks can be selected to be copied and you can listen to the tracks while deciding which tracks to copy.

The company also offers a backup service, which backs up your iPod to a remote server, without a computer, through an Ethernet connection. iLoad owners get a free 2 week trial of the iLoad BackUp Service.
