SanDisk has announced a range of new MP3 players at CES 2007 today as well as a range of accessories and multimedia devices.

The Sansa Connect, which will initially only be available in the US is an MP3 player similar in size to the company's e200 range, but features Wi-Fi connectivity to allow users to share songs with others or download content from service providers such as Napster.

In addition to having the ability to download and share content users will also be allowed to access internet radio stations as long as they are within a Wi-Fi hotspot.

As with other players from SanDisk, the Sansa Connect will feature a microSD expansion slot for additional memory capacity and a 2.2-inch colour screen.

Delevoped in connection with a company called ZING the player will cost $249 when it launches in March.

SanDisk told Pocket-lint that it expects it to be available in the UK by the end of the year.

The Sansa Express, also announced today as an alternative to Apple's iPod Shuffle and Samsung's USB stick player, will be launching in the UK sometime soon.

The 1Gb flash player, which will cost $59.99 in the US when it launches later this month, slots straight into the PC’s USB drive, eliminating the need for wires and cables. It sports a four-line OLED screen, a microSD expansion slot for additional memory capacity, a digital FM tuner, with FM recording and even a built-in voice recording with a built-in microphone.

As reported earlier, the company also announced a video media player called the Sansa View which offers an SD card slot and 4-inch screen.

Other gadgets announced include a device SanDisk is calling USBTV. The device is, according to the memory card maker, the world’s first flash DVD player which makes it possible to move digital content from PCs to televisions, and Cruzer Contour, a u3-enabled USB drive.
