At first glance this site is a heart-warming collection of reminiscences about all those daft beliefs that we hung on to as children.

But, and this might just be me of course, the longer I spent reading through these (predominantly American) recollections, some of them started to give me the creeps.

Fun to be had though. Favourites include the two boys who thought their grandmother lived at the airport, as that’s where they always picked her up; and the guy who thought God was a kind-looking zebra and said his prayers accordingly. Whether that meant he communicated in whinnies and snorts it doesn’t say...
