Sony Ericsson has announced a new entry level Walkman mobile phone that it says will make the "Walkman phone available to everyone".

The new handset which replaces the W300 at the bottom of the list will be called the W200i and like other models in the range have a strong focus on music.

With the W200i Walkman phone you can store up to 37 full length tracks (or about four albums on the included 128MB Memory Stick Micro card) and has stamina for up to 18 hours of music listening and feature a dedicated music key to access music straight away.

“The W200i is an affordable music phone that compliments your existing MP3 player”, says Steve Walker, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson.

The W200i also comes with an FM Radio with the option to pre-set 20 of your favourite stations.

As well as being a music player, the W200i features a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, a full HTML web browser and push email and PC synchronisation options.

The Quad-band W200i will be available in the UK from Q2 2007.
