BT announce range of new Wi-Fi handsets for BT Fusion

Nokia, Motorola and Samsung handsets to be available from Phones4u

BT has announced it has launched a range of Wi-Fi handets that will allow users of the BT Fusion service to make phone calls via the company's network of Wi-Fi hotspots.

BT has also announced some new handsets to sweeten the appeal including the Nokia 6136, Motorola A910 and Samsung P200.

Users wanting to take advantage of the company's four minutes for the price of one when at a BT Openworld hotspot will be able to buy on the High Street this Spring in over 400 Phones4u stores across the UK, after the chain signed up to be the partner for the Wi-Fi launch.

BT also confirmed that it plan to build a first phase of 12 Wireless Cities by the end of March to allow even greater connectivity for users wanting to take advantage of the service.

BT offers free internet surfing on the Wi-Fi handset who can email or surf the web on their mobiles at home and at BT Openzone hotspots at five times faster speeds than GPRS.
