Dell venture into televisions with the W2600

Dell, following in the footsteps of other traditional computer manufacturers have ventured into the world of LCD televisions. The first of what seems to be much more, is the W2600, a 26in high-definition LCD television that is suited for the home.

Costing a very unrounded £1207.87 including VAT the slimline black box will allow viewers to watch dual inputs simultaneously, view pictures with the optional digital photo card reader, read Teletext, and connect to a PC to play music or surf the Web - all while watching television.

The W2600 also comes with unique high-end extras like Midnight Mode, which dampens background noises at the touch of a button while preserving the clarity of onscreen dialogue.
