New for spring 2007, the Osprey Talon series is perfectly designed for the fast moving mountain enthusiast – super-light mountain aerobic activity packs offering incredible melding torso adjustability, lightweight ventilation and excellent pack stability.

Osprey’s four-strong range of Talon packs come in two different sizes and are a breakthrough in lightweight design fit, comfort and ventilation. The Talon clings like a monkey yet only weighs as much as his lunch. The Talon 11 pack weighs 650g equivalent to three medium sized bananas.

The pack features a highly ventilated AirScape backpanel with ridge moulded foam and built in air channels; lightweight fabrics: 70d x 100d Cordura Siliconised Nylon with 210d Shadow Check reinforcements; torso adjustable harness (fixed on Talon 11) with body hugging stretch ventilated foam; functional hipbelt with twin powermesh zipped pockets; 4mm HDPE foam backpanel; fully hydration compatibility and stretch back and side pockets.

The number indicates the maximum litreage and the weights and prices breakdown as follows: Talon 11, 650g, SRP £50; Talon 22, 770g, SRP £60; Talon 33, 850g, SRP £70; Talon 44, 1110g, SRP £100.

Available at all good mountain hardware stores.
