Have you been under the impression that the cult of iPod was mostly restricted to weird and often useless accessories?

Think again. It's now expanded to a building, specifically, the iPad residential tower in Dubai.

Developer Omniyat Properties is planning to finance the building, which is set to house 200 flats by 2009.

At 23-stories high, the iPad will sit atop a docking station at a 6 degree angle, but as yet there's no click wheel incorporated.
