HP launch two new All-in-One units for the home user

Alongside the launch of it new wireless printer, HP has also announced the launch of two new All-in-One devices -the HP Photosmart 2710 and HP Photosmart 2610.

Both new models offer users integrated home networking. The HP Photosmart 2710 offers connectivity to a network via an Ethernet port while the Photosmart 2710 All-in-One connects using the embedded wireless 802.11g.

Both printers also offer memory card slots for direct printing and both have LCD displays for previewing - 8.8 cm colour LCD screen on the HP PSC 2710 or the 6.4cm colour LCD screen.

Print speeds are up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) black and up to 20 ppm colour, at qualities up to 4800-optimised dpi (1200-input dpi). Like other printers in the range the two new models will support the 6-ink colour Photo Inkjet Print Cartridge.

The flatbed scanners scan at 2400 x 4800-dpi optical resolution and 48-bit colour. HP Photosmart 2710 and HP Photosmart 2610 All-in-One, users can fax black and white and colour documents via the 33.6 kbps modem - all independently of the computer.
