Pocket-lint readers are waiting to buy gadgets in the sales

Nearly 60% are planning to buy their gadgets after Christmas

If you've been panicking about what to buy a loved one this Christmas, maybe you should take a tip from 57% of our readers and wait until the New Year sales.

The majority of our readers thought that waiting to buy gadgets in the sales was a smart move, but that leaves 43% who can't wait.

These could be readers who are buying gadgets as presents for friends and family, or those who aren't buying gadgets at all.

Over 500 readers responded to our poll, which asked specifically, “Do you intend to wait and buy your gadgets in the New Year sales?”.

Many shoppers bag bargains just after Christmas, before the New Year has even begun, when retailers are look to offload their surplus goods.
