Pole-dancing USB figure banned from Marks and Spencer
But you can still buy one in time for Christmas

13 December 2006 16:39 GMT / By Amber Maitland
After being branded “cheap and tawdry”, the tacky USB pole-dancer has been kicked out of a high-street retailer and has found a new home online at Boysstuff.co.uk.
The 8-inch Barbi lookalike stands on her own little illuminated plinth, clutching her pole and gyrating to the sound of MP3s played from the computer where she's plugged in.
Marks and Spencer were carrying the gadget in the run-up to Christmas until prim consumers called it “demeaning to women”, while MP Anne Widdecombe labelled it as “cheap and tawdry”.
It is not that cheap, actually, at £29.95.
