A website that offers the chance to grab a bit of Hollywood history, just in time for Christmas.

Today’s website of the day is profilesinhistory.com a US-based site specialising in movie memorabilia and celebrity souvenirs..

This Thursday and Friday they’re selling off a load of film props, rare commemorative pieces and a shedload of other items via eBay Live Auctions.

Highlights include Elvis Presley’s wedding ring from his marriage to Priscilla and the knife used by James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause, as well as a hoard of rare film posters and costumes used in some classic movies.

We’re not saying that any of this stuff is going to be cheap, but for died-in-the-wool movie buffs, just watching will be entertaining enough.
