PNY releases 4GB SDHC card

Can handle recording of high-def video

PNY has launched a new 4GB SD High Capacity card for use in compatible mobile phones and digital cameras.

PNY claims that the card can even handle HD video recording and playback. It is rated a Class 4 card, which means it can handle 4MB/s transfer of MPEG2 files with a continuous shooting option for stills.

It can store more than 1000 pictures from cameras with average resolution, and can store around 1 hour and 30 minutes of video in MPEG2 format.

The recommended retail price for the card will be £41.
