Sony Ericsson unveils the Z310 handset

Mirrored handset shares features with the previously-released Z610

Sony Ericsson has launched a new mirrored handset, the Z310, that owes some of its design to the Z610.

The highly-reflective Z310 has a hidden OLED display that only appears when a message or call is received. In addition, coloured light effects can be assigned to certain contacts in your phone book so you know who is calling at a glance.

The lighting effects can also be used to set the “mood” of the phone depending on the time of day, so you can choose a light and bright display and menu system for the day, and something darker for the evening.

The camera on this model is only up to VGA standard, although you can transfer those images straight to a website via Picture Bloging.

The Z310 is Triple band/EDGE/GPRS, and comes in Jet Set Black, Blush Bronze, or Lush Pink.
