27 September 2004 20:11 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Panasonic has announced the x300, a new phone that will have a pop up screen to allow you to shoot video and take pictures just like a camcorder (see pictures)

Aside from the pop-up screen, the phone features a 65k colour screen, a built-in VGA camera, 40 polyphonic ring tones and tri-band support. It won't however offer Bluetooth support.

The x300 is available in the UK now and price will be dependent on the contract and operator you sign with.
