Epson launches new all-in-one, the DX7000F

Epson's latest all-in-one is an update to its Stylus DX range. Dubbed the DX7000F, it offers high-speed fax, fast printing, and individual inks, making it more cost effective.

Designed for the home or home office, the DX7000F uses DURABrite Ultra Ink, manages a whopping 5760dpi on certain media, and features Epson's Micro Piezo technology. Each cartridge costs from £7, and thanks to individual inks, you only replace the colours that you use.

For amateur photographers, the device offers standalone photo printing from both memory card slots and PictBridge. Photos can be produced in just 29sec.

The A4 flatbed scanner reaches a resolution of up to 1200 x 2400dpi, and together with ABBYY FineReader OCR software means that you can scan documents straight to a text file. Bundled Easy Photo Fix software also means you can restore fading images quickly and easily; The Creativity Suite software is also included.

Mac and PC compatible, the Epson Stylus DX7000F retails for around £120.
