Projectiondesign has brought out a new widescreen version of its Model Two Home Cinema projector in order to throw an extra-large image on the wall in tight spaces.

Model Two WIDE can project a 2m wide/90-inch diagonal image on the wall from a distance of only 2 metres, while most projectors require a distance from the projection surface of at least 4 to 5 metres.

The Model Two WIDE features DarkChip3 technology and is HD-ready. It features interchangeable lenses and delivers 1000 lumens of light. It operates at just 24dB so you'll be able to hear sound without any problems, and offers true optical vertical lens shift of 0-95%.

The projector is small and comes in either grey, white, or blue, so you can match it to your interior. Technical specifications include 7-segmen Neural Density Green colour wheel, RealColor advanced colour management for true 65000K out of the box, 4000:1 contrast ratio, and a native resolution of 1280 x 720.

The projectiondesign Model Two WIDE is available for around £4000, with a standard zoom going for £3500.
