T-Mobile has announced the exclusive availability of the new Samsung Z560 on its network its first HSDPA handset.Aimed at users looking for internet connection speeds faster than 3G, the new phone, when in coverage, has the ability to download content up to four times faster than 3G - 1.8MB per second.
The lightweight device, which only weighs 98g has a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, 30MB internal memory, video streaming capabilities, video calling options via a second camera and the ability to record up to 1 hour of video.
Hoping to offer an alternative to the Sony Ericsson Walkman range, the Samsung Z560 looks and acts like a dedicated music player when closed, with embedded dual speakers so you can share the music.
The Samsung Z560 costs from free on a T-Mobile pay monthly price plan with a number of Web'n'Walk offerings depending on how much you want to pay as a monthly subscription.
T-Mobile are hoping that the speed difference over 3G will appeal to business users looking to use the phone as a modem for their laptop. Phones, Mobile phones, 3G, Samsung, T-Mobile, HSDPA
