Google bosses make the Forbes rich list

23 September 2004 21:06 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Forbes, the US business magazine, has released its annual top 400 rich list in America and the Google bosses Sergey Brin and Larry Page have jumped right into list following the floatation of Google earlier this year.

The pair are number 43 on the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans with fortunes of $2.2 billion (American). However with a personal fortune of $26.7 billion they won't even come close to Bill Gates the lists wealthiest subject.

It's not all money, money, money for internet entrepreneurs however, the biggest money loser from last year that still managed to remain in the 400, is Amazon's boss Jeff Bezos, who dropped 445 million dollars during the last 12 months.
