Sony has released an update for its PSP handheld console in Japan. The new update, version 3.0 allows the PSP to interact closely with the Sony PS3 including the PSP remote feature that allows you to watch content stored on your PS3 via your PSP and a wireless connection.Other improvements for those not lucky enough to get the company's new next generation console include improvements to the RSS reader, support for the the camera accessory and the ability to play music stored on your memory stick via the players MP3 player.
Sony announced the 3.0 firmware a couple weeks ago. There is no word yet when the 3.0 firmware will be available in the US or the UK. Gaming, PSP, Firmware updates, Sony
