HTC launch HTC P4350 smartphone

Touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard alongside quad-band connectivity and more

HTC, the company behind most of the mobile operators white label phones such as the T-Mobile Vario and Orange SPV series has today launched the HTC P4350, its seventh device to market since it started marketing phones under its one brand name in June.

The new HTC P4350, which is an actually an unbadged MDA Compact III which was announced by T-Mobile last week, is 17mm thick, features a 2.8-inch touchscreen with both portrait and landscape views as well as featuring a semi-automatic sliding full QWERTY keypad, a 200MHz processor, and a 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM.

The quad-band smartphone supports GSM/GPRS and EDGE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0, connectivity.

A five-way navigation control ensures easy operation and weighing just 168g (battery included), maximum functionality is offered in a compact case.

As with previous models from HTC, the new HTC P4350 features Windows Mobile 5.0 Direct push email technology, internet browsing, and synchronization with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Contacts and Pocket MSN.

The new smartphone will be available from December.
