First unveiled at IFA, finally on sale in the UK

The latest iPod speaker comes our way from Harmon Kardon, who has launched the Go + Play.

Rather than positioning the iPod upright on top of the system, the Go + Play holds the iPod lying down under the large handle.

The speaker dock is bundled with a remote control, although touch volume and mute controls are also featured on the system. The speakers incorporate bi-amped digital aplification, digital sound processing, and something dubbed “Ridge and Atlas transducers”.

Eight D batteries power the device for up to 18 hours, or mains powers can be plugged in. iWorld.co.uk is offering the Go + Play for £250.
