A range of high-tech PrimaLoft filled gloves have hit the market.
The Salomon Kokoon is designed for use on the slopes and this women’s glove offers protection against the chill. The glove has a leather outer, PrimaLoft insulation and a faux fur lining. PrimaLoft insulation makes this glove extremely warm, soft and lightweight as well as offering water-repellency, compressibility and breathability.
Salomon’s Kokoon is an extremely durable glove with sophisticated details such as the funky faux fur cuffs and an adjustable Velcro closure.
Available for around £60, see the Salomon link below for more info.
O’Neill’s Fat Controller is a technically superior performance snow glove using PrimaLoft insulation and incorporating a wireless remote control for Apple’s iPod MP3 player. Tune selection is managed from a small, thumb-controlled joystick woven into the top of the right-hand glove.
Cutting edge technology doesn’t stop there – again the PrimaLoft insulation makes the interior soft and warm, whilst being light, water repellent, compressible and breathable; the glove uses stretch fabric, has a leather palm and a Dryhand lining – the result is a seriously technical, high performance snow glove. The Fat Controller is available in both men’s and women’s fits.
It costs a bit at £100, but you get a great glove for it. More info at the link below.
