In addition to releasing the Ring monitor from its Fantasy Series of monitors yesterday, LG has also made its Artistic Series of LCDs available in the UK.

The range, which is also known as the 60 Series, is available in both 17-inch (L1760TQ) and 19-inch (L1960TQ) models, which retail for around £190 and £220 respectively.

The range features Digital Fine Contrast technology that provides a contrast ratio of 2000:1, a response time of 4ms, and a Flatron f Engine, which LG calls the “world’s first picture enhancing chip for monitors”.

All of the monitors feature a piano black finish, sit on a triangular-shaped stand, and are equipped with an eagle-eye shaped power button.

Other features include a brightness of 300cd/m3, a viewing angle of 160º, and a resolution of 1280 x 1024.
