New iPod cases from Brenthaven and Peli

We couldn’t let a week go by without bringing you some new iPod cases, just in case your iPod is naked and cold from the change of weather.

Brenthaven’s latest product, the Flip Case, was dreamt up by an Industrial Design student who won the company’s iPod case design competition. The Flip Case converts into a stand to make it easier to watch videos.

With a custom fit for 5th generation iPod videos, the cases are made of leather with a suede lining. Available in black with lime green lining or brown with blue lining, they costs £34.95.

Also new is the i1010 from Peli, makers of heavy-duty photographic and electronic equipment luggage. The big-as-a-brick i1010 fits iPod video, nano, and shuffle in its water- and shock-proof shell, made of polycarbonate. On the outside is a headphone jack, while inside is room for your headphones and cables.

The industrial-looking case comes in black and white and comes with a nylon strap and a lifetime guarantee. It’s available for £32, but not until next year.
