For those of you who favour Tesco for all your electronics needs, you can now pick up a personal video recorder there as well.The TVonics DVR-150’s main claim to fame is that it is designed and made in Britain, the only one on the market at the moment.
It has 160GB hard drive, enough to record up to 80 hours of programming, and hooks up to your TV aerial.
Twin Freeview tuners are incorporated, as are the usual 8-day electronic programme guide, and the TimeShift funcion.
Its makers claim that it uses less energy than other digital video recorders on the market, and is also the smallest.
