Trust to offer USB2.0 support via PC Card

20 September 2004 19:48 GMT / By Stuart Miles

From October users of older laptops will be able to benefit from USB2.0 connections via a handy PC Card from Trust.

The Trust 2Port USB2.0 Cardbus works by inserting the cardbus into a free slot on a notebook. It then gives the user two additional, USB 2.0 connections.

The USB 2.0 connections can be used to connect two extra devices, such as a USB 2.0 external hard disk, a webcam or a card reader, to the notebook at any time.

By connecting a number of USB hubs together, a maximum of 127 USB devices can be connected to the cardbus.

The card will be launched next month and cost £19.99
