Today’s website of the day is gordonramsay.com, the homepage of the famously foul-mouthed and fiery Scottish chef. And today is his 40th birthday.

Love him or hate him, Gordon Ramsay has changed the face of fine dining in this country. In the recently published Harden’s guide to the top ten restaurants in the UK, six of them were his. He is one of the elite and has the coveted Michelin stars to prove it – three of them in fact.
His various TV shows and books have made him a household name, but few of us have ever eaten at one of his tables (not that we're dropping any hints or anything).

The site is a wealth of information about the man himself, his restaurants and, if you’re some kind of masochist, information about the possibility of working for him.
