Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary launching next year

Lara Croft is going back to the start in the just announced Tomb Raider: Anniversary. The latest game in the franchise is “inspired” by the original game released in 1996, but improves the graphics, technology, and engine.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary will see Lara Croft pursuing a mystical artefact known as Scion across the world on PS2, PSP, and PC.
“We are re-telling an incredible story using today’s technology. We’ve taken all of the key moments from the original game and put them into the context of a brand new Tomb Raider adventure which will make fans of the franchise extremely happy but also attract a completely new audience.”
Look out for it in 2007.
