Evesham has launched a 47-inch LCD TV that is able to display 1080p HD resolution.
The TV features both a standard analogue tuner and a built-in Freeview tuner, ready for the switch over to the digital signal in 2007/08.
Myriad inputs include one HDMI connection for next-generation consoles or DVD players, as well as one full Scart, one half Scart, and an S-VHS.
The screen is set up with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a contrast ratio of 1600:1; The in-built speakers don’t support Dolby and output Nicam Stereo instead. Look out for the 47-incher for £1900.
