D-Link has released a new 4-port print server that creates wireless connectivity for up to four print devices.Th DPR-1260 has 4 USB ports for printer or scanner connections, and boasts up to 109Mbps Turbo mode speed from computers equipped with 2.4GHz frequency band wireless interface. It also has an ethernet port to serve as a wireless bridge for any ethernet-enabled device, like a PC, DVR, or NAS to the network printer.
The device also uses 64/128-bit WEP data encription and Wi-Fi Protected Access to keep data safe while being beamed across the radio waves.
Backward compatible with USB1.0 devices, the DPR-1260 is available for £130.03 plus VAT. Hardware, Networking, D-Link, Wi-Fi
