Driver Alert Master keeps nodding drivers awake at the wheel

A small device designed to wake drivers who nod off is now available from Maplin Electronics. The Driver Alert Master is a small sensory device that fits around your ear and wakes you with a loud beeping noise if it notices you literally nodding off.

It's available for £5 complete with battery from Maplin Electronics across the UK, and can also be purchased on their website.

“Although we always advise motorists to take regular breaks when driving long distances, the Driver Alert Master is an effective and reliable tool to help ensure the safety of you and your family whilst driving”, said David O'Reilly, marketing director at Maplin Electronics.

Maplin promises that the device is designed for long journeys and is comfortable to wear even for long periods of time.
