Belkin's Wi-Fi phone for Skype is finally available in the UK, after first being announced in July. Unlike most other VoIP compatible handsets, Belkin's phone can make Skype calls even when the PC is off, making it much more convenient.
It can be used on any Wi-Fi network, including at hotspots and on home networks. Contacts are stored on the phone.
Skype have also launched a promotion in time for the launch of the Belkin phone offering free calls to UK landlines if you buy Skype Out credit until 31 December.
The Belkin Wi-Fi phone will be available from 30 October for £100.
