Skype has now released a beta version of its software for Mac, version 2.0, which integrates all-new video calling for Apple fans.

Mac users can now have one-on-one video calls viewed within the Skype window, or on the full screen. It also includes a small “mirror” window so users can see what they look like to the person they're calling.

Previously, video chat via Skype required third-party applications to run. This latest Skype version requires a Mac equipped with OS X v10.3.9 Panther or newer, a G4, G5, or Intel processor running at aminimum of 800MHz.
