Waist and chest straps offer stability

Pakuma, the makers of “urban” bags, has launched another bag in its Akara range. The K1 is big enough for your 17-inch notebook computer and has room for all your other stuff as well.

The notebook is held within Pakuma's Cocoon protection system to keep it safe from knocks and scrapes. Separate compartments keep your documents away from your other belongings.

The Akara also has chest and waist straps, as well as an air support system, and holds 23 litres with dimensions of 30 x 5.1 x 39cm. It also incorporates cable storage pouches, as well as a CD wallet, external mesh pockets for bottles, and MP3 pouch with headphone out port.

The Akara K1 costs £65.
