Sony has announced pricing for its PlayStation 3 peripherals at launch on 17 November in the US, and has also unveiled the first set of 21 titles that will be available.

The Bluetooth controller Sixaxis, will cost $50. It has a range of about 20 metres, and charges its batteries via USB. The remote control for the Blu-ray player will cost $25, and the adaptor to transfer PS2 game saves to the new console will cost gamers another $15.

Although the consoles, which cost $500 for the 20GB version and $600 for the 60GB version, features HDMI input, Sony hasn't thought to throw a cable in the box. Instead, gamers will have to fork out another $50 for the official one.

However, it is dangling a carrot at the first reluctant 500,000 PS3 owners in the form of a free Blu-ray copy of “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”.

Of the 21 titles that will be available at launch, only three are Sony's own: Resistance: Fall of Man; NBA 07, and Genji: Days of the Blade. EA is releasing three sports games: Madden NFL 07, Need for Speed Carbon, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. Other games include Call of Duty 3, Fight Night Round 3, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The games are expected to retail for around $60.
