Evesham has launched a new hi-fi system without the words “iPod” and “dock” attached to the name. The SoundWords Radio CD from Creative plays regular CDs as well as MP3 CDs, and incorporates an AM/FM radio tuner with 24 station presets and two alarms.
Creative's proprietary subwoofer technology means that it is stored in its own vented enclosure in the small hi-fi, and provides a deep bass foundation for room-filling sound.
Also bundled with the system is a wireless remote; presumable some portable media players can be hooked up to it as it features a 3.5mm Aux IN jack at the back.
The hi-fi is available for £180 from Lowestonweb.com. Audio, Radios, Hi-Fi, Evesham, Creative
