Pick your favourites and create a team

The Marvel comic book characters are to be united in a new game by Activision, called Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Gamers can assume the roles of over 20 Marvel Super Heroes, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade, and Captain America. Players have complete team customisation, so that they can create their own team name, icon, and vehicle, as well as establish a team reputation.

Gamers can level up each character to their liking, or keep their heroes balanced. In combat, they'll battle Marvel's Super Villains in the air, underwater, and on the grounds, by charging up their Super Hero powers and unleashing them.

The storyline is affected by which missions players choose and complete, and how they interact with other characters. A multiplayer component means that friends can have their Super Heroes work together, or play in Competitive Mode to see how players stack up against each other.

The game will be released for PC, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox360 on 3 November, for Nintendo Wii on 8 December, and for the PSP some time in the future.
