Vodafone has announced a new pricing plan for small businesses to coincide with its sponsorship of the new Sky program, The Big Idea.

The Small Business plan is a new plan that starts at £22 per month, and allows business mobiles to share minutes. It also includes free calls between company mobiles and company landlines for 60 minutes of talktime per call.

Those users with 18 month contracts can add mobile push email for £5 a month and will receive 25% extra free minutes for life.

In addition, Vodafone is promising regular price plan reviews so that customers can receive one price check per year, with new and existing customers receiving their first price check after 6 months.

Vodafone wants to get in on the small business market because of new research that shows that around a third of people surveyed are planning to start their own business. The mobile service company has also designed a website, www.vodafonesmallbusiness.co.uk/resource that also has a mobile site to help small business owners get started.
