Guinness World Record for LG's 100-inch LCD

Mammoth screen takes first place

LG wants everyone to know that its 100-inch LCD TV has officially made it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The company is the officially the proud manufacturer of the world’s largest LCD TV, which boasts 18-inches more than the nearest runner up at 82-inches.

Specifications of the monster TV include full HD resolution of 6.22 million pixels, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and 180-degree viewing angle.

The LCD was unveiled at the last CES show held in Las Vegas.
