Symantec has released Norton Confidential, its online transaction security software.

The program is designed to provide a dual level of protection against phishing websites and crimeware. It also protects against keystroke loggers and screen scrapers, manages personal information, and authenticates websites.

It’s been in beta for a few months, but now the software is shipping in advance of Symantec’s upcoming Norton 360, which is its all-inclusive security suite due next year.

Norton Confidential is priced at $49.99.
