Little racing car runs on water power

Give the environmentally-friendly option a whirl

If your environmentalism even extends to your toys, you might want to check out the Hydrogen Fuelled Racing Car.

Horizon developed what they claim is the world’s smallest hydrogen-powered fuel cell car, nominated for the Intel Environmental award at Silicon Valley’s Tech Museum, for those of you who are keeping track.

The little racer features a fetching silver and blue body, and “is as green-friendly as you can get without being a tree”, according to Horizon.

To operate the car, you pump water into the fueling station, which is powered with batteries or solar panels, and then siphon it into the H2 Racer.

This will give you enough juice to run the car 100ft, or for around 4 minutes, before it needs to be refueled.
