Sony Ericsson to open flagship store in London

Shop will showcase all of Sony Ericsson's best products

Sony Ericsson has announced plans to open a store in central London to compete with the retail spaces of other top mobile phone handset makers.

The shop will open at the end of November and located in Kensington High Street, which is a prime pre-Christmas shopping location.

Trained staff will be on hand to answer questions or give product demonstration, and mobile phones, accessories, and PC cards will be available to buy from a range of operators, courtesy of a deal with Carphone Warhouse who will operate and manage the shop.

The 7300 square foot retail space will showcase all the capabilities of Sony Ericsson products, while the basement will be available for customer and corporate meetings as well as demonstrations.

The announcement of the store is part of the celebration of the brand’s 5th anniversary, and comes shortly after Nokia opened its own flagship store in New York City in the beginning of September.
