World of Warcraft appears on South Park

The tenth season of the ever-popular cartoon South Park debuts this week with an opener that centers around the massive multiplayer online RPG World of Warcraft.

The story follows Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny as they attempt to stop a renegade gamer trying to destroy the online game. The four have to step in when even the people who run the game don’t know how to put a stop to the gamer's madness.

The episode debuts on 4 October in the US on Comedy Central.

“We were excited to hear that the creators of South Park were interested in featuring World of Warcraft in the opening of their new season, and we really enjoyed collaborating with them to make this happen”, said Mike morhaime, president and cofound of Blizzard Entertainment, which produces World of Warcraft.
